SG Fleet, which specialises in delivering vehicle leasing, fleet management and employee car benefit solutions in the UK and internationally, is the latest company to sign-up to ICFM’s new Corporate Investor Programme.
The fast-growing company, which has UK operations in Solihull and Stoke-on-Trent and operates a fleet of more than 13,000 vehicles in the UK and more than 125,000 internationally, becomes the first vehicle leasing specialist to join the programme.
SG Fleet, like other recent recruits to the initiative including Auto Windscreens, Michelin and Ambit, has joined at Affiliate Investor level, which enables the organisation to participate in ICFM events and gain access to the organisation’s vast wealth of resources.
Designed to appeal to employers that provide a wide-range of products and services to fleets, ICFM’s Corporate Investor Programme is in addition to its long-established three levels of individual membership.
The aim of the Corporate Investor Programme is to further raise the standards of fleet industry professionals and overcome a possible skills and knowledge shortage inside many employers. Additionally, member businesses also become more closely involved in ICFM initiatives, which include training for employees, the organisation’s annual conference and Masterclasses on key industry issues.
Chris Salmon, commercial director, SG Fleet, said: “SG Fleet is delighted to join the ICFM Corporate Investor Programme and views it as an excellent opportunity to participate and support the ICFM in its quest to further enhance training and educational standards within the vehicle fleet management arena.”
He added: “There are numerous benefits for SG Fleet in joining ICFM as an Affiliate Investor. They notably include mirroring our own objective to promote the highest standards of customer care and support and the advantage of being associated with an organisation of the ICFM’s calibre, which can provide credible and valuable best practice guidance on a wide range of fleet-related topics.”
“Through ICFM, SG Fleet will also provide advice and information on key fleet management and funding issues.”
ICFM sales director Peter Eldridge said: “We are delighted that another well-known fleet industry supplier in SG Fleet has recognised the value that ICFM can deliver through the Corporate Investor Programme and joining at Affiliate level.
“We hope that many other businesses will clearly see the value for money benefits of membership and the training and learning opportunities available and then enrol their employees in the various courses and attend our events, whether that be the ICFM’s annual conference or its Masterclasses tackling key fleet decision-maker issues.
“Investment in ICFM adds credibility and value to businesses and their employees and provides an invaluable network of contacts and benefits.”
ICFM’s Corporate Investor Programme provides employers with four levels of membership tailored to employee numbers and specific employer requirements:
