A newly created role reporting to the CEO of a progressive automotive industry group with responsibility for the delivery of key group central services.

This varied and challenging role forms part of the Senior Management Team of a multisite automotive business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a range of centrally managed functions including customer service and the integration of new business, engineering and purchasing; the development and implementation of centrally based sales streams; and the management of a number of field- based staff providing support to branch operations.
The key to success will be developing the teams such that the systems, processes and support from group central services enables operating branches to deliver consistent levels of excellence to our customers and also provide support and guidance to the individual sites.
This role requires strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage teams providing a range of service solutions. Candidates will need strong numeracy and analytical abilities combined with the tenacity, energy and interpersonal skills to ensure that demanding targets are met, and that processes and systems keep pace with the needs of the business.
Candidates, from a fleet management background and preferably ICFM accredited, should be articulate with good communication and presentation skills. A background within the automotive industry, ideally involving call/service centre management would be a major advantage.
