New WLTP Testing and BIK tax
Anyone know when the new WLTP test will be adopted for BIK tax/VED/WDA? I understood from an article in Fleet News in Feb that it was likely to be in Sept 2018 so we didn’t have a two tier system in operation, but on Mazda’s website the Co2 for the new 2.2 D CX5 is 132 based on WLTP testing but with no reference to this or the current NEDC figure. The outgoing model is 119. This will cause chaos with our policy (capped at 130 co2 currently, supposedly moving to 110 in April 2018) and how will we advise drivers of their future BIK tax?
Plug-In Power Charger Thefts
Has any member had the power charger for a Mitsubishi Outlander or (other plug in) stolen while being left on charge? Have they any advice on how to secure as we understand that this does not lock in even when the vehicle is locked. Have they replaced under insurance and we are being quoted £400 or so pounds to replace.
