Seven ICFM members attain Diploma, six with Distinction
2011-12-06Seven members of the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) attained their Diploma in Car Fleet Management during 2011, six passing with Distinction. As a result, all seven automatically have become Fellows of the Institute. One of the new Fellows, Duane Leach of Gloucestershire Constabulary, also won the ICFM Training Achievement of the Year Award at the recent annual national members’ conference held at Peugeot UK’s headquarters in Coventry.

The Institute of Car Fleet Management's (ICFM) 18th annual members' national conference and training workshop held on November 29 at Peugeot UK's headquarters in Coventry repeated the successful format of the past two years of combining a variety of keynote speakers and free training workshops. The theme of the event was ‘Driver behaviour - the real cost' with demonstrable savings evidenced throughout the day. Over 100 delegates attended the highly successful event at which the ICFM also unveiled its new brand identity.

2008-03-12Attendees at the 15th Annual Members - Conference of the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM), held at The Honda Institute in Colnbrook on March 11, heard chairman, Roddy Graham outline his vision for the future of the Institute plus presentations on the impact of climate change on the fleet industry under the conference theme 'Drive Less - Achieve More.' Speakers at the event included Colin Challen, Labour MP and chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group; Tim Anderson, fleet advice manager at The Energy Saving Trust; Mark Cowling, business development director of CAP; and Don Potts, environmental transport advisor. Alec Stewart OBE, England's most-capped cricketer ever, was the guest after-lunch speaker and hosts, Honda, fielded the TT 130mph outright lap record holder and 13 times TT winner, John McGuiness.

Best ICFM Annual National Members’ Conference backed up by attendee survey results – 97% would recommend others to attend!
A survey of attendees at the Institute of Car Fleet Management (ICFM) annual national members' conference, celebrating twenty years, revealed that 98 per cent rated the event good or excellent and 97 per cent would recommend others to attend. Over half of the record 195 attendees responded to the survey.
