Since its launch in 1992, the ICFM has gone from strength to strength in the twin pursuits of providing car fleet managers, administrators and fleet service providers with one of the finest training and education programmes available and in connecting people who have similar responsibilities and interests to deliver a powerful network.
Indeed, the words from our previous Chairman, Tom Madden, when addressing over one hundred and sixty delegates at an Annual Members Conference still ring true and his remarks are as relevant now as they were then:
“If the ICFM didn’t exist it would have to be invented.”
Well, the good news is that the ICFM not only still exists, but is more committed than ever to achieving our primary goal – to provide our members with a high quality, structured and accredited training programme that allows them to gain an academic qualification that is not only recognised inside and outside of the car fleet industry, but also acknowledged as the pre-requisite standard by which eminence within the profession is gauged.
Additionally, the Institute is keen to foster and promote best practice in all aspects of car fleet management within industry and commerce and to advance the professionalism of our members in all their undertakings, encouraging success for them as individuals and delivering real value to their employers.
