Chairman - Roddy Graham
Roddy, a strategic business professional with extensive experience in the vehicle rental and leasing industry, is commercial director of the Leasedrive Velo Group. He is responsible for implementation of the company's business development programme.
Before joining the Leasedrive BIMBO transaction team in a similar position in 2003, Roddy was managing director of Ignition Vehicle Management. This was a new venture, which Roddy steered from initial concept to a fully established operating leasing company.
Prior to Ignition Vehicle Management, Roddy was managing director of Budget Rent a Car UK. Originally appointed as sales and marketing director, he played a key role in the acquisition of two car rental companies. Later, he led the purchase of seven licensee operations at a time when Budget was pursuing a business strategy of corporate-ownership.
Roddy joined Budget from Highway Vehicle Management where he held the position of sales director for six years.
He was invited to join the Institute of Car Fleet Management Council as Chairman in 2006.
Roddy, is married with two sons and lives in Chobham, Surrey. In 2007, Roddy won the second annual Fleet News ‘Leasing Personality of the Year' Award and is a member of the Hall of Fame
Deputy Chairman and Director - James Langley
James is a director of Fleet Intellect Ltd, providers of advisory services to major fleet operators and of fleet support services to those businesses operating smaller fleets.
In over 25 years in fleet management, he has been responsible for many types and sizes of fleet from a 220-car fleet operated by a major international manufacturer to fleets of all sizes and with a variety of operational constraints and critical business requirements.
He has helped to shape Government thinking and convened the Fleet Policy and Purchasing Group of the Cleaner Vehicle Task Force, a group that helped shape the reformed company car taxation system introduced in 2002. It also provided the template for the ‘Motorvate' scheme to recognise environmental achievements in fleet operation.
James was the first elected Fellow of the Institute having achieved the Diploma qualification in 1996. He also facilitates the Law module of the Fast Track programme.
Director and Treasurer - Peter Eldridge
Commencing in 1963 with Fiat Auto UK, Peter has enjoyed a successful career in the fleet motor industry, encompassing almost every aspect of customer service and technical support.
Fleet management of a large blue chip fleet operation and senior management positions followed management roles within the franchised motor trade with major contract hire, leasing and accident management companies.
In 2003, Peter joined Inchcape Fleet Solutions as Head of Maintenance & Accident Management, which was followed in 2008 by promotion to Head of Operations, a role that encompasses total responsibility for all aspects of client operational activities.
Peter has been a member of the ICFM since 1993, joined the Steering Committee in 1996, and was invited to become a full Council Member in 1997. Peter was appointed Director and Company Secretary of the Institute in April 1999. He bacame Treasurer in 2009.
Company Secretary and Director - Sara Wisniewski
Sara is a corporate relationship manager for Lex Autolease where she has worked since June 2007. This ‘poacher turned gamekeeper' move came after being the fleet manager for Yell in the UK since 2005.
She joined Yell in 1999 following completion of her degree in Human Resource Management and Information Technology. After holding a number of roles within HR and project management at Yell, she was appointed fleet manager.
One of the first students to complete the ICFM online Introductory Certificate Programme, she progressed swiftly on to the Fast Track Certificate Programme. Sara worked through the Certificate in record time, qualifying with a distinction in every module in November 2005.
She was elected to the Council in September 2006 and commenced her studies on the Diploma programme in October 2007, gaining a pass with distinction in 2009. That same year she was appointed Company Secretary and Director.
Sara brings to the Council notable enthusiasm for the industry, sound project management skills and an appreciation that the benefits of the Institute's training can provide to anyone within the fleet industry.
Council Member - Anne Giberson
Anne is European corporate account manager with General Motors Europe, looking after major European corporate customers and travelling throughout Europe, working with customers and local GM offices to develop sales throughout Europe. She has held this position since September 2005.
Earlier, Anne worked for Vauxhall Motors as corporate account manager looking after major corporate customers in the UK.
During her 20 years within the fleet sector of the motor industry she was fleet manager for Thorn EMI for seven years. While at Thorn EMI, Anne won the Fleet News large fleet ‘Fleet Manager of the Year' in 1995 in recognition of her success in reducing costs and implementing many new policies and procedures.
Anne joined the ICFM back in 1996 and was made a Council Member in 2003.
Council Member - Paul Hollick
Paul is general manager sales development at Alphabet (GB) Limited and has extensive experience of building and developing business in the fleet industry. He moved into his current role at multi-marque car leasing company Alphabet in 2007, where he is responsible for all new business activity and related support functions. He also has product responsibility for car hire, fleet risk, Motivational Leasing and environmental products as well as its strategic consultancy offering.
Paul joined Alphabet from Inchcape Fleet Solutions where, as head of finance and IT from 2003 to 2007, he played a key role in building up the company following its earlier rebranding from Kenning Leaseline.
Paul began his career in the wine and spirits trade after graduating from Southampton Solent University with an honours degree in accountancy in 1994. He worked initially as company accountant and later as company secretary for an international wine distributor before becoming financial director of SCATS Countrystores plc in 2000, where he worked until his move to Inchcape.
Paul, a Member (MICFM) of the ICFM, was made a Council Member in 2010.
Council Member - Mark Holyoake
Mark, commercial manager at Network Rail, has worked with Network Rail on the commercial side of infrastructure maintenance since 2006. Given his previous fleet background, he was asked in 2009 to join the team working on the re-tender exercise for Network Rail road fleet, which has a fleet of around 8,000 vehicles.
Between 2003 and 2006, Mark managed a 450-car fleet for Minorplanet Systems, an electronics company; taking on responsibility for facilities and becoming head of purchasing.
For two years prior to that he ran his own fleet management consultancy company as well as buying and retailing ex-fleet cars.
Between 1998 and 2002, he was fleet manager of IVAX, a pharmaceutical company managing around 300 premium brand cars.
Mark joined the ICFM in 1993 and became a keen member of the Institute, helping out on the ICFM stand at fleet shows and joining the inaugural Steering Group in 1994.
Council Member - Steve Hook
Steve's portfolio includes extensive experience in line and functional management, specialist staff, management and organisational development in a variety of roles in manufacturing, service and public sector organisations and in both corporate-led and devolved structures.
His career started with twelve years in the manufacturing sector working in engineering production and design before progressing to production management and HR. He then worked for Lex Service PLC for thirteen years in HR, management training, centre management and organisation development roles.
A qualified trainer and assessor, he has run his own consultancy business since 1991 specialising in individual, team and organisation development and management development in particular.
He was commissioned by the ICFM Council in 1992 to design and deliver a multi-tier education and training syllabus. His work on behalf of the Institute now includes continuous development of the syllabus content and scope, training design, delivery and competence assessment.
In recognition of Steve`s ongoing commitment to the Institute, he was invited to join the Council in September 2007.
He is also a full member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has been responsible for professional trainer development on their behalf.
Steve is married, lives in Somerset with two sons.
Council Member - Marie Jarrold
Marie, car fleet controller at British Car Auctions, a Member (MICFM) of the ICFM, was named ‘Fleet Manager of the Year – 101 - 400 vehicles’ in the 2008 and 2009 Fleet News Awards, and also received the Fleet World 'Fleet Manager of the Year Award' in 2009.
She joined the Institute in September 1996 and holds a Diploma in Car Fleet Management, having previously attained an Introductory Certificate and Certificate in Car Fleet Management. She attained her Diploma in Car Fleet Management with distinction last year.
Marie has been employed by British Car Auctions for the past fifteen years, working for the first ten years in customer services before being appointed car fleet controller in January 2004.
Council Member - John Webb
John is a fleet consultant within the Strategic Consultancy Services of Lex Autolease. He joined Lex in 2006 after 30 years of experience in central Government and law enforcement, including four years as national fleet manager for HM Customs and Excise and then head of specialist fleet and radio communications for HM Revenue and Customs. In this role, he managed over 2,400 vehicles across the world, including a 1,000-strong covert surveillance and specialist fleet. He is a past winner of the Fleet News ‘UK Fleet of the Year for 2004 and 2005', ‘Environmental and Sustainable Fleet of the Year 2004' and GreenFleet ‘Fleet Manager of the Year 2005'.
He is a former chairman of the Government Fleet Managers' Network, which encompassed over 50 central Government departments and over 50,000 fleet vehicles. John is also a member of the influential Low Carbon Partnership Steering Group and has worked with Government departments and law enforcement agencies in policy and legislative development.
John joined the Institute in 2001, and has since undertaken both the Certificate and Diploma programmes, winning the ‘Training Achiever of the Year' award in 2002. He was appointed to the Council in 2006.
Council Member - Andrew Yellop
Andrew has been employed within the motor industry since 1986 and within the fleet sector since 1990.
He has worked within contract hire and leasing companies and also with a large blue chip corporate fleet.
In 2002, Andrew joined Toyota Financial Services (UK) PLC as vehicle management administration manager, assuming overall responsibility for all aspects of the contract hire fleet, as well as the provision of whole life running cost data and vehicle remarketing. He was appointed UK Kaizen Champion by his employer in 2010.
Andrew joined the Institute as an associate member in 1999, and studied in the first Fast Track Certificate Level group, passing with distinction. He continued his studies through the Diploma programme which, again, he passed with distinction in 2002. Andrew joined the Council of the Institute in 2003 and was elected Fellow the same year.
A Leyton Orient fan, Andrew has a son Drew and likes the occasional glass of wine.
